CUSTOMER
INFORMATION SHEET
The following terms and conditions shall apply to all
transactions between Glaciers End Seafood, LLC, (Glaciers End) and the customer;
- Unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties all
purchases by the customer shall be charged to the credit card of the customer
as detailed on page one. The charges shall be submitted by Glaciers End at the
time of delivery. Customer shall state the maximum charge that shall be made
for any one delivery of goods by Glaciers End. The charges shall be only for
the seafood or other items purchased by the customer. Due to possible changes
in market prices or other conditions beyond the control of Glaciers End, and
the inability to fulfill orders to the exact amount of purchase, the charge
shall be within 10% of the anticipated purchase amount of the order made by
the customer. The minimum order shall be $50, not including container deposits
or delivery fees.
- Due to possible changes in the availability of certain
species of seafood ordered by all customers, Glaciers End reserves the right
to substitute comparable seafood items at its discretion unless customer
specifically requests that this not be done.
- Orders will be delivered according to customer’s
directions. Once delivery is made customer assumes all responsibility for the
items ordered. Customers must recognize the necessity to freeze or refrigerate
all seafood items as soon as possible even if the goods are delivered on ice.
Customers must also recognize that all seafood is wild and must be properly
cooked to avoid any possible food borne contaminants. If customer requests
delivery be made in a Styrofoam container there will be a reasonable deposit
for the container. This deposit will be refunded upon return of the container,
or the container may be replaced with the succeeding order and the deposit
kept by Glaciers End until the container is finally returned in good
condition.
- All prices include delivery on the regular route of the
company. If Glaciers End determines that a particular customer is too far off
the normal delivery route to make free delivery unfeasible it will notify
customer of a reasonable delivery charge per order that will apply. These
charges will not be made prior to actual notification being made to the
customer.
- Customer becomes liable for the full purchase price of
all ordered goods once any order is placed unless Glaciers End receives
written notice of cancellation of any order prior to leaving Ohio to pick up
the order from its wholesale suppliers. As set forth above, the actual charges
to the credit card will be made upon delivery or attempted delivery or the
seafood being available for pickup by the customer. Glaciers End may attempt
to freeze a customer’s order, in its sole discretion, if it is unable to make
delivery according to customer’s instructions. If this is done the customer
will be responsible for picking up their seafood items.
- Glaciers End agrees that customer information will not
be shared with any third party and that all credit card and personal
information will be used only for the purposes of informing the customer of
product availability and purchases of seafood products as requested by the
customer. The email address of the customer will only be used to respond to
the customer’s questions and to send order information to the customer or
other information that Glaciers End believes is relevant to the customer.
- All orders will be made by submitting a written order or
by placing an order through the Glaciers End web page. No customer names or
credit card information will be taken through the web page. All customers must
submit the written customer profile sheet and will be assigned a customer
number. The customer number must be used in order to place an order on the web
page. This will prevent any possible security breeches of customer information
by third parties.
- Glaciers End reserves the right to change the terms and
conditions of its sales agreement at any time. If this is done a new customer
information sheet will be submitted to all customers by email or regular mail
at the discretion of Glaciers End.
